MESTEL Safety SGE 400/3 CBRN Protective Mask / Gas Mask

The Mestel NBC SGE 400/3 is a modern CBRN protective mask that is primarily designed for use in riot and anti-terror situations. The mask ensures chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense.

The mask protects the face and respiratory tract against violence, blows, biological (virus) and chemical warfare agents, radioactive dust, tear gas, gas leaks, nuclear accidents, glass/metal splinters, soot particles and heat radiation in the event of a fire. The mask can even be used as a fire protection mask with a carbon monoxide CO filter attached!

The mask comes with a speech membrane that provides improved speech ability from inside the mask when you talk to others! It also has a factory-installed drinking port that allows you to drink fluids without removing the mask (NOTE! Drinking tube is not included and must be purchased separately).

The clear polycarbonate visor is used as a riot-grade eye and face shield and as a support structure that incorporates a silicone gasket face seal for optimal comfort. The polycarbonate visor offers excellent visibility and a comfortable fit and was tested to withstand a one-inch steel ball, propelled at 335 MPH (150m/s) without cracking or damaging the face shield!

The mask was also tested for heat resistance and will not catch fire or melt at 800 degrees Celsius (1472 F) for 5 seconds or 200 degrees Celsius (372 F) for a duration of 6 minutes.

The S GE 400/3 protective mask has several functions with the following characteristics:

- 3 NATO 40mm X 1/7 inch DIN 3283 filter ports. Side placement of your filter allows for more convenient aiming of a gun

- Polycarbonate eye and face shield with silicone seal

- Lightweight (approx. 530 grams)

- Compact to carry but with a large field of view

- Easy maintenance, just wipe clean with a damp cloth

- Quick release harness with six adjustable straps for optimal comfort

- Soft anti-allergic inner mask made of silicone and it has controlled airflow valves to prevent fogging of the visor

- Mestel factory-installed Integrated speech membrane transmitter for clear voice communication

- Factory installed drinking port allows you to drink fluids without removing the mask

The mask can be used with all standard 40 mm NATO threaded filters in accordance with EN 148-1 (DIN 3183)

Manufactured under strict ISO 9002 quality standards for maximum reliability and safety. When used with NBC rated filters, this mask is certified by the manufacturer to provide nuclear biological and chemical protection.
